是... 终于苦尽甘来了...

不... 并不是预先知道能"苦尽甘来",
不是为了熬出头才拼搏的
某种程度上是被"避"出来的
工作量不曾因为人手不足而减少
反而激增了
工作不能因为人手不足而不作
至少我的不能
万万不可
顶多能拖延期限
被避到"墙角"的经验人人都有
怕只怕... 我得面临各个"阶层"的人
逃不掉夺不过
也只能要紧牙根撑下去

这苦尽甘来的成果
来得并非容易
更多压力也会随即而来
不过总算努力得到了一定的成果

《天冷就回来》 If There're Seasons

Went to catch Theatre Practice's latest musical recently -- If There're Seasons

Personally was keen to watch partly cos of the cast.. and partly cos the show is inspired by the popular hits of Liang Wern Fook. Belief it or not I am no fan of Liang Wern Fook.. But I do like his style of writing.. so poetic..

Anyway I pretty enjoyed the show. Probably cos I'm a very sentimental sort of person. I was moved by the songs.. the lyrics.. Perhaps the story reminds me of myself.. reminds me of what I had gone thru.. Memories started to flood my mind.. Saltwater wells in my eyes.. (sidetrack: funny.. sounds like lyrics of the song "Saltwater by Julian Lennon".. *haha*)

But I was shocked to realise a friend started to doze off during that part of the show.. It was either she's just too tired ... or the show didn't 引起共鸣 to her.. or I was juz being too emotional as usual...

I agree that some of the cast didnt seem to be in tip top condition that night. I agree..definitely.. I had seen most of them in other shows before and they really fared better than tat.. But on the whole I feel I was touched by the show.. I really did. Perhaps it was just the night.. it was just the mood. or it was just me.

Anyway.. this is post is definitely very back dated... Watched the show >1 wk ago.. And the last show was performed today afternoon. For those who watched it... hope u enjoyed it as much as me.. For those who didn't.. It was too late even if I had post this a wk earlier it seems the tickets were all SOLD OUT!?!

Not a regular of the show.
Not that I have anything against the show. Pretty like the show.. like the hosts... But will only watch when happen to tune in.. Never remembers when it is showing..
And only watch when I happen to know the guests on the show

Today's guest was another of my favourite TV personality I guess...
He's a writer.. He's a tv host..
Recently discovered his blog

From the show.. I realised he's such a weird "kid"..*OMG*
But he's quite amazing too. The kind of life he leads.. his childhood.. his collections.. his taste in weird books....

But somehow I think I am weird too when it comes to reading.. Ha... Come to think of it.. We do have some common "taste" in books...
....I remember picking up a book when I visited Taiwan.. it's a magazine on Poo... But its a illustrated magazine.. no real images or anything of any sort.. Its just for fun.. One of his collection was a picture of real Poo.. Poo of various animals... and the way he describes them is juz so..erm.. Amazing.. :P

He's a talented host.. a talented writer.. Now I got an urge to pick up his book to read....

Happened to catch a glimpse of the show on Channel 49 in the afternoon...
Don't usually watch it since I am not a beholder of such beliefs....
Was switching between channels to find an interesting programme to watch and took glimpse of it..

They had 2 guests on the show in today's episode..
They were asking..
"If you were drunk one day and had a one night affair with ur best friend. What would you do after that"... From ur reply they were supposed to predict how you would usually act in front of someone u like...

I chose the same ans as the female guests... And it turned out the ans seems to reflect that we are the kind of gals who will tend to act "boyish" in front of the guys we like.. n its only when we are attached to those guys then they will see our gentle side.. How true..... *giggles*

那天上 Cruz的博客无意中发现蔡康永的博客地址...好开心... 一向都挺欣赏蔡康永的.. 喜欢他的主持风格..

蔡康永的博客里有一则心理测验... 是跟哈利波特有关的... 是 Hogwarts' Sorting Hat... 我本身并不知晓 Hogwarts 的中文名称是什么... 我看的是英文版的小说和电影嘛... 以上标题是采自蔡康永的博客的...

其实类似的测验好多... 也曾经做过.. 应该是太无聊了... 所以索性再试一下... 题目跟许多英文版的不相同...

<<刺青>> Spider Lilies

其实一向都并不爱看杨丞琳频频地扮可爱... 总觉得太甜太腻了

知道她参与了<<刺青>>, 媒体似乎对于她的表现赞赏有佳... 最后也因好奇...好奇"可爱教主"是因为怎样的演出而让人给予她那样的好评语...便约了几位好友一块去看电影...

虽然... 在戏里, 她还是有那股甜甜可爱的成份... 就当是剧情所须吧... 不过至少她的表现是相当不错的... 够放... 至少我真这样认为

人为什么要刺青? 是为了留下记忆中的烙印, 是为了锁住回忆, 还是为了得到那不知明的力量? 每个刺青背后真的都有一段故事?

小绿..一个"视讯女郎"在网络上挑逗一颗颗寂寞的心... 小绿本身该也是寂寞的吧... 在虚拟的世界里, 她虽为他人掩饰了寂寞的心, 渴望他人的注意...

许玮伦2007光芒音乐会

昨晚睡前在 Youtube 看了完整版的<<许玮伦2007光芒音乐会>>... 感触挺深的.. 睡觉前看这音乐会的确不很适合.. 尤其不适合象我这样悲观的人...

许玮伦逝世也好几个月了吧... 本身对许玮伦并不太熟... 知道她主演了许多偶像剧, 也对她的诽闻略知一二, 看过她上过的一些节目.... 就这样...

她出车祸那几天刚好看到一些相关的报道... 确实惊讶, 也深深希望她能获救... 最终还是"事与愿违"离开了...也因她的逝世, 从各个报道中才获悉许玮伦是个多才多艺的艺人, 也是看了<<许玮伦2007光芒音乐会>>后才知道她在圈内是个受大家喜爱的...

并不属于朋友或粉丝的我, 难免会觉得惋惜... 音乐会中, 许玮伦的众多好友, 有的表演有的则写了一些想要告诉她的一些话... 有些虽然唱着快歌, 但是都难掩内心的伤痛... 我也被他们影响了... 眼泪也忍不住地落下了... 在众人心目中的美丽天使在世就短短的28年... 这绝对是一场好悲的音乐会....

前几天感冒了, 情况是严重的吧
睡着睡着竟然会因为全身酸痛到不能侧躺
非得翻身不可
也因感冒便得完全没胃口
一想到食物都想吐了更何况是吃呢
几天下来, 几乎是没吃什么...

现在的我好饿啊....
饿得几乎睡不着....
睡不着也许是这几天已经把睡觉 "quota" 用尽了!
所以... 现在怎么都无法入眠...
脑海里想的就是该到那里买美味的早餐!

台北 2007 - Day 5

台北之旅第二十二站: 西门町永和豆浆店

这天, 起得早些就为了要赶出去买早餐... 就是不想再吃那天天菜色不变的 Hotel Breakfast.. So boring!

这回我们买了蛋饼, 饭团和豆浆...
相比之下我还是喜欢馒头...

台北之旅第二十三站: 桃园中正国际机场

我们选择了搭的士到机场去... 是贵的loh (~1000NT per trip)... 不过为了方便吧. 为了"存下"这笔车费...最后几天的Budget很难算leh....

因为早餐实在太丰富, 到了机场也不饿又考虑到上机后有午餐, 就把剩余的钱用来买手信... 最后还剩下~65NT, 还真不想继续花, 因为我知道再买就得刷卡了啦~

但是因为登机手续老早就办好了, 还有好多时间该怎么办? 我突然想到了个无聊的点子...于是...我们便从 Terminal 2 搭 Sky Rail 到 Terminal 1! 哈... 够无聊吧!

决定拍下登机证, 是因为这为整个旅程划上休止符... 是难过的... 因为又得回到残酷的现实了... 好快五天就这样过去了...

也为了同样的原因, 为了划上休止符的原因拍了以上的照片... 哈哈... 是无聊的.. 我懂! :P
SQ Inflight entertainment 是不错的啦... 午餐还有雪糕leh...! 太棒了... 不过回程的 Inflight Entertainment control 似乎有点旧 leh...不能 Pause, Rewind, Fast forward leh... 好讨厌... 浪费时间看些不想看的片段 (不是指以上的片段.. 别误会! 哈!) ;(

台北 2007 - Day 4

台北之旅第十八站: 高铁

我们是真累了... 我们晚起了... 比预计晚得多了... 不过安排好的行程还是会尽量一一照着...

就因为好奇, 为了要试试刚启用不久的高铁, 但又没打算花太多时间和金钱在乘达高铁, 所以决定只达一个站. 我们从台北车站出发前往板桥站.

乘高铁从台北车站 --> 板桥站只需10分钟.. 而且乘捷运也可到达, 但是高铁要贵一倍. 因为时间的关系, 原先是想要来回都达高铁, 但时间没法配合, 所以只好回程达捷运... 因为还得赶车往九份的!

乘捷运从板桥站 --> 台北车站我们也只花了10分钟的时间... 而且坐了5个站!

总结: 如果要搭远距离搭高铁的确省时省钱, 否则还是搭捷运好了!

还有.. 高铁的自动售票贩卖机好酷啊! 作好选择后, 就可即刻打印出 magnetic ticket! Wow!

台北之旅第十九站: 九份

就因为迟起, 又因为好玩去感受乘高铁的快感, 造成我们买不到缴早班的火车往九份, 又不想浪费时间等待. 没办法只好搭客运loh...

我们先是买好到基隆车票(51NT per pax)...在路上我才赫然想起... 其实台北有直往九份的客运呀! 真糊涂! 哎... 这一来好啦, 又要浪费时间到基隆转车! 台北-->基隆的车乘花了45分钟... 又花了另外45分钟从基隆-->九份

到达九份已经接近 3.30pm 了! 比预期还晚多了! Bad planning! *sighz*

据说好久以前, 因为有九户人家住在"九份", 大家都很和睦... 买什么都买"九份"... 因此就有"九份"这名称... 听起来还真有道理.. ya??

到九份一定要吃牛肉面.. 不知道为什么那么有名, 不过确实是好味道. 还有阿婆芋圆... QQ 的芋圆挺不错的... 烤杏鲍菇好好吃.. 一路上有好多小吃... 九份老街并不算长, 不过一路上吃的, 逛的就足以让你花上至少两个小时!

陈绮贞的一首"九份的咖啡店"总让我感到好奇那身在其中的感觉.. 但是仍然没亲身感受到. 原本是想要找间觉得有"FEEL"的CAFE歇脚, 但是看到天似乎有点灰, 又刮起大风, 真害怕会下起大雨来...那可会耽误接下来的行程... 就索性把 idea 搁置了... 又一个"遗憾"

买完手信, 我们再次乘搭客运回基隆(45NT per pax)吃晚饭了！

台北之旅第二十站: 基隆庙口街夜市

我想基隆一定好特别，就连自由女神都到此一游！(上图为证...)

基隆著名的是海鲜, 或许跟地点有关吧...这里的海鲜种类多, 且便宜! 我们选择了到一个小档口, 点了一盘菜, 一盘清蒸虾(好大一盘哦~!)和一盘碳烤鱼... 只需少过 700 NT!!! 吃得太饱了...实在是无法品尝其它的美食...至少不是在基隆夜市啦...

我们又决定搭客运回台北市...就为了省钱...钱确实不够用! (冷~~~~!!!)

台北之旅第二十一站: 士林夜市

回到台北我们又去了一趟士林夜市, 为了要买些还没买到的东西...也顺便买了些宵夜回饭店吃... 买了我最爱的菜饱, 还有大板烧... 料多又便宜! 好样的!! 最后一晚了... 多希望旅程不会那么快结束~

台北 2007 - Day 3

台北之旅第十站: 中正纪念堂

现已改名为"国立台湾民主纪念馆"了.
那天因为时间还早, 所以先到中正纪念堂拍照后去西门町. 否则我又会到诚品狂扫了!

我好喜欢国家剧院和国家音乐厅的设计... 总希望有机会能到国家剧院看演出... 但是直到现在还为完成心愿!

台北之旅第十一站: 西门町

又一次回到西门町...反正前一个晚上因为停电没发逛. 我们先到永和豆浆店吃早餐...

培根蛋馒头...我的最爱!!! 好好吃... 真的... 好喜欢他们的馒头, 好松好软...煎蛋好好吃啊... 太美味太丰富了... 要是我们能有那么好吃的早餐该多好. 不过... 他们的豆浆嘛... 只能说我并不懂得欣赏... 据知是因为太生了所以豆味太重... 不合口味... 除此之外一切都好. 来到台北真的不能错过这馒头, 不试真的可惜!

在 S.H.E. 所属唱片公司网站上知道当天 S.H.E. 在西门町有签唱会, 原先是想要凑热闹的... 但是... 人实在太多了啦... 我还不想被捆在人群中哦! 下午2点的签唱会, 早上11点已有长长的人龙了... S.H.E. 的魅力的确无法挡! 虽然人多, 但是他们每个都好整齐地坐着等候... 好难得..

去年我们也碰上其他歌手在西门町的活动, 不过, 声势就没那么"浩大" leh.....

另一道不可错过的阿宗面线! 实在好味道... 不是因为许多旅游手册都有介绍, 真的是因为好吃.. 不过如果你有任何"内脏过敏症"又或者对猪肉过敏的话... 还是免试吧... 因为面线主要材料是猪大肠... 真的好美味... 真令人回味无穷ㄌㄟ!!

台北之旅第十二站: 家乐福 (中华店)

对... 你没看错... 的确... 我们到家乐福走一趟... 哈哈.. 好奇, 也为了找些东西... 不过还真的难找, 最后还是达的士...

Aunty shopping 够忙了所以忘了把该家乐福拍下.. 哈...

台北之旅第十三站: Sogo (台北复兴馆)

Sogo 三楼有间法式咖啡廳-小王子的飛行旅程...到那歇脚的确是有点私心啦... 就因为喜欢餐厅的主题, 所以想去看看.... 我点了杯冰红茶... 既然我不喝咖啡... this is a can't go too wrong choice! *hee*

台北之旅第十四站: Sogo (台北忠孝馆)

其实目的也只是为了到超级市场买东西... OOOops...yet another round of aunty shopping! 哈哈.
不过收获还不错... 也买了一些手信... 还有肉干当零嘴.. 不过, 我不太喜欢肉干的味道... 猪肉味太重了!

台北之旅第十五站: Snoopy Land @ 新光三越 (信义店)

店面的规模没淡水店的大, 不过既然是 Snoopy 有关的当然不能错过嘛! 其实在拍下店内照片的时候是战战兢兢的, 深怕店员会向前阻止, 那多没面子嘛.. 我知道淡水门市是不能在店内拍照的...不过友人又要我帮忙"搜集"资料... 好矛盾...

看.... 就算店外的橱窗都可爱极了!!!

从新光三越一路走向台北101都会看到各式各样的街头表演....我想每逢周末都有类似的户外街头表演吧.. 两回都碰着... 感觉上他们是一群艺术学院的学生, 为了筹款而在接头表演不过全纯属我个人猜测. 他们的头饰可是用海绵制成的! 好厉害!

在准备拍下右边那蓝色外星人的时候, 刚好有个手拿着某店广告板的人(他并没特别装扮), 很没趣地坐在外星人旁, 脸上的神情就和外星人一模一样, 但是好可惜他意识到我的"不怀好意", 所以便逃之夭夭了! 太可惜了因为两人成了一个对比也构成了好有趣的画面... 都怪我反应太慢了! 那画面真的是太有趣了...真的!

原来华纳威秀改名了... 难怪久网址都无法接上! 这次行程太紧迫... 仍然无法到戏院看电影! *sigh*

台北之旅第十六站: 台北 101

虽然当天天气凉爽, 多风又没雨, 不过雾多.. 好可惜喔.. 即使上了台北101在89楼的观望台, 什么也看不到. 和去年一样, 去 101 那天碰着母亲节, 也因如此他们也开放了91楼的室外"观望台".. 不过可惜什么也没看着.

台北之旅第十七站: 士林夜市

终于到了士林夜市...另一个旅客非到的地标之一吧. 也是众多夜市中, 规模较大的一个. 而且是分成两个 sections .. 左边是美食专区, 右边则算是购物专区, 虽然也有卖些美食. 当晚的晚餐就有棺材板, 阳春面和排骨酥汤! 真的好棒啊! 真是价廉物美...那晚气温下降到20度C, 喝着热呼呼的汤好暖和... 可惜忙着吃棺材板, 忘了拍...实在太饿了...到了士林不可忘了到"辛发亭"吃雪片冰! 真的好好吃!!! 作为饭后甜点是超赞的!

当然还有好多好料可以品尝啦... 东瓜茶, 爱玉冰, 菜包... 实在美味! 还有好多水果, 便宜好吃! 还有.. 边吃边逛啦~

星期天晚上, 还是人山人海, 令我开始深信, 台北人体力真好, 比我这夜猫子还夜猫啊! 第一次到台北的时候, 我们到KTV 唱K 去... 为了省钱, 我们选择过了黄金时段才开始.. 唱完已经是凌晨三点多了, 还看到好多成群的上班族就跟我们一样刚唱完K ... 他们的体力还真另我佩服~!

那晚, 回到饭店后, 我们俩都累坏了....脚是累到极点... ! 不过心情是愉快的...

台北 2007 - Day 2

台北之旅第四站: 书店街

到台湾，一定得到书店去啊！怎可错过狂扫的机会？真的太便宜了啦... 至少台湾出版的都是如此啊．并不否认我是个书虫啦，书虫怎会不到书店，对吗？

其实这书店街的名称似乎是旅客给的名称，当地人似乎并没太多人知道，至少老一辈的似乎并不知道．上一次到台北的时候，问路的时候发现的．Anyway,　既然认得路，当然就不必问路了啦．

书店街就在重庆南路，或许因为这条街有着好多大大小小的书店，因此有着＂书店街＂的名称．图中，看到的是＂书店街＂了．我的疯狂购物就此开始了... :P

我们的饭前甜点... ;P
就为了接下来的美食, 所以选择先不吃午餐, 但又不想饿坏肚子, 就先来点甜品. QQ 的地瓜圆, 口感很好, 不愧是鸦片粉圆, 吃了真的还想再吃, 久久无法忘怀!

台北之旅第五站: 台北新世界购物中心

台北新世界购物中心是个地下购物中心, 不过规模好大, 也只是台北车站站后地下购物街的一小部分吧. 那鸡蛋制成的"甜品"是因为它可爱, 所以买下, 味道不错, "内馅"酷似蒲式蛋塔.

台北之旅第六站: 猪血汤店

就因为在新加坡已吃不到猪血了, 每回到台湾这是我必吃的! 怎么可以错过...真怀念那味道啊! 只是, 前两回都是到北投泡温泉后, 到附近一档小吃店吃猪血汤, 这次我们并没打算泡温泉, 特地到北投又太远了... 千辛万苦在网络上找到一家著名的猪血汤店. 猪血汤店在昌吉街, 是有点 "out of the way" lah... 不过我们还是试图把它找着为止... 上图为证! 哈...

那天不知是不是因为天气炎热, 胃口不佳, 老店铺也没装上冷气机, 实在是太热了....什么山珍海味都吃不下吧... 米粉炒味道不错, 但是汤嘛, 就稍嫌油了点... 还开始质疑, 怎么这就是传说中美味的猪血汤??? 真奇怪....用完餐后才发现, 那著名的店铺是在对面街! 大摆乌龙了! Awwwww....

台北之旅第七站: 淡水老街

当天的淡水好多人, 其一原因是周休二日吧, 另一原因应该是当天举行着一个儿童的活动.... 该活动的名称已忘了... 不过只要天气好就行了, 至少店家都开着呀! 图中的综合盐酥菇不错 leh..至少我是这么认为啦...

挺喜欢淡水老街的, 每回来这里都有不同的惊喜....

在炎热的下午时分, 来杯冰拿铁是不错的选择... 对于不喝咖啡的我, 吉子玫瑰花茶, 微酸的吉子加上玫瑰的香气, 一杯冰凉的饮料的确是解暑的好选择. 当然到了淡水老街, 不能错过的是洪妈的酸梅汤--另一解渴"良伴"

Ok...我不否认这是其一我喜欢淡水老街的原因! 哈哈... Snoopy 专卖店 leh... 真的不能错过的... 每次到这里我都会"发疯"似的... 因为所有商品都好可爱啊!!! 恨不得能全部搬回家去! 不过钱不够用 leh ;(

台北之旅第八站: 渔人码头

另一个我还喜欢的地方... 尤其是黄昏时分, 总觉得好美.. 好喜欢这里的气氛.. 好浪漫... 尤其是当餐厅的歌手唱着首首情歌时... 又或许我内在的"浪漫细胞"泛滥??? :P

曾有友人觉得这里好无聊... 因为没得购物.. 我只能说.. 每个人旅游都有不同的目的... 渔人码头的独特特色或许不是每个人都感受得到的.. 哈....

选择乘船回到淡水老街是因为走累了, 不想倒回去公车站... 这理由算成立吗?

台北之旅第九站: 西门町

原本是打算到士林夜市的, 但是因为那天实在太多人了, 所以便改变计划到西门町去... 可是 another wrong timing... 不知怎的, 周六晚上的西门町应该是热闹非常的, 但是那晚却是暗的... 向前去看发现停电了... 哎

没吃着阿宗面线~ :(
反正已经是 9:00pm 了啦...我们也并不那么饿, 所以决定到诚品信义店, 继续我的买书计划! 哈...反正信义门市开到 2:00am! 信义区的诚品好大喔! 可是... 我还是较喜欢西门的那间.. 或许因为较熟悉那儿的环境吧... 不过只要是诚品书店都好啦! 哈哈

台北 2007 - Day 1

这是一个仓促的决定, 就为了希望能在被允许的情况下能够休息... 再一次能够到台湾真的感觉好幸福... 真的好爱到台北...就是觉得好舒服好自在..

虽然这次旅费是昂贵的...行程也非常紧迫...不过我想还是值得的...

这一次, 我们就住在图中的家美饭店. 它独特之处就是它独有的日本和风设计... 饭店里的 "Encounters".... 就不提了... 不过一切还好啦....只是可惜仍旧无法住在长虹饭店! *sigh* 不知何时才能有这机会???

台北之旅第一站: 光华商场

ok... it's GEEK's haven... 第一站我们来到了光华商场... 不知怎得, 我开始路痴了, 一开始便慌了乱了方向, 怎么也找不着目的地... 兜兜转转走到毫不熟悉的地方, 不得已问了些许路人终于给我找着了!!! 光华商场就象我国的 Sim Lim Square, 琳琅满目的... 不过有些也是我们着找不着的... 就是它们好些都有售卖A片,A书... 在我国可是非法的

有趣的是, 正当我们逛完后在前往捷运站的路上, 竟然有两位当地学生向我问路, 问我光华商场该怎么走! 我好想好奇地问他们是否我真象台湾人或者.... 我就是天生一副 Geek Look??? 不过之前路人帮了我, 现在有幸能帮人也算是件好事吧...就别吓坏小朋友了! :P

台北之旅第二站: 五分埔

接着我们来到了成衣批发市场：五分埔．衣服种类繁多，少些耐性还真不行．

台北之旅第三站: 饶河夜市

到台湾一定少不了到夜市去．离五分埔不远就有饶河夜市．其实是有点自豪找着路到饶河．因为第一次到台湾的时候，因为下起大雨，所以我们便决定达的士去夜市，这次竟然让我找到路，不错的leh...

不过有人拿了我的行程，竟然还向我＂投诉＂说... "嘿，饶河夜市离五分埔粉远 leh... 你的脚这么短为什么可以走这么多路？＂说实在的我也不晓得他为什么要投诉喔，我每走四步他只需一步而已leh! 不过看在他老人家帮我买东西的份上，算了，他要说就让他去吧! :P

那晚夜市好拥挤啊，或许因为是周五晚上，周末即将开始，不过夜市＂门口＂的人龙一向那么长，我知道的．每回都有那么多人排队就为了买那著名的胡椒饼...好恐怖．不过...我还是很无聊地凑热闹去！ ;)

酥脆的薯片撒上酸梅粉，好吃喔．或许那微酸的酸梅粉，＂掩盖＂了油炸后的油腻．也或许是因为我们真的饿了！哈哈．不过吃这薯片还真考功夫leh...薯片一圈圈绕着 satay stick 才拿去炸的，我们由上到下吃，搞得好不狼狈，过后我们才发现原来从下到上才是＂上上之策＂啊！哎... Too late...

这豆腐是迎着＂估价王＂的效应而买的...味道不错 leh...葡萄口味的汁搭配着软滑的豆腐，带酸，豆腐香，好吃！

其实我们在夜市品尝的还有好多，不过边吃边走边逛，谁有闲功夫一一拍下？ :P

To add on to the extreme stress at work..
Grandma is ill and hospitalised today
Still under observation no idea what exactly happened.
She kept vomitting last night and felt giddy.
The MRI seems to indicate some blood clot

I hope all goes well. She looks so much haggard now.
Seemed to have lost lots of weight too.

All we can do now is to wait for detailed results from the doc .. hopefully in a day or two...

7 yrs ... it is not surprising why the emotional "outbreak" today by many ard him

For a moment I wondered whatever happened to my tear gland... Doesn't seem to be affected by all the scenes.. Was wondering too if I was trying too hard to keep calm... Wondering how can it not affect me... It's afterall a happy 8 mths for me.. We worked well as a team.. I had learnt lots from him n would hope to be able to learn more too... Someone whom I can look up to as a senior.. someone who can also be a friend at same time..

Way after everyone calmed down.. when all the little emotional "commotion" have stopped... I started to get into a little emotional state of my own.. in my little corner...perhaps I should be glad for that official phone call came to snap it out of my emotional state... Otherwise I would probably scare everyone out with my tears.... long after everyone have stopped.. N I would probably feel guilty if I will cause him to start once again.. I know he was trying very hard to control ... especially during that last official work hr... It's tough choice.. definitely.. all the friendships all the bonds...

I know my senior won't be reading this.. but must really thank him for all the guidance throughout this period all his advice.. Also wish to apologise for driving him up the wall so much too *hiakz* but I guess he enjoys them anyway! haha..... And to thank him for eventually being sporting enough to wear the Shrek ears headband which he thought was so silly.. I know he did it for our sake..

I know I have a long battle ahead of me now.... and also for him. It's a new challenge awaiting him. Wishing him the bestest in his future endeavours.

Enjoyable time today.. This is indeed a special birthday for me :)

Was really in high spirits whole of today...
Came back in ultra high spirits too...so much so that the cab driver commented I had such a smiling face ;)
*heee* but of cos ma....my special day n well spent with frens

Started the day off with the Beer Game Workshop.. it was stressful initially when we didn't catch the dynamics of the game.. once we got a hang of it.. it was fun..an interesting way to learn what Supply Chain is all abt n the impact of it all... left the workshop in quite high spirits...

After dat, rushed for dinner appt with some ex colleagues.. it's been great to meet up again.. been long while since we met... really glad they could make it... so touched. really.. and really thank them for a fantastic time.. :)

Following dinner was a post-dinner celebration with my buddies ... been quite some time since we gathered... we had a bday cake..someone to sing the song.. me blow the candle.. n supposed someone to polish off the cake but he din complete his task! haha.. but anyhow it was fun.. n we went a little krazee with the foto taking part of it all... hahahaa
Thanks to Paul & Jo for the wonderful time... I'll let u know once I decide wat I want for my bday hahaha >:)

Wheeeeeeeeee, went to watch Phantom Of the Opera again on the 27th March 2007.. A whole big gang of 9 of us! Definitely something rare... Rarely would I be able to gather so many pple all at one time..

Watched Phantom for the first time 12 yrs ago!! *Gasp* that's a pretty long time ago.. Went there with the whole family back then and we were sitting in Row X in Kallang Theatre... It's pretty far but thankfully KT wasn't a big theatre, and the feeling was so nice.. nice song.. nice props...everything seems its best

This time round, since I can afford a little more for the ticket now, I would really want to sit nearer to the stage this time round, really tried all I could to get the best seats available.. Ticket was booked months before hand, the seats this time is row C.. a big improvement ya?

I went to the show with lots of enthusiasm.. I had a tiring time at work.. was really exhausted, but nevertheless, I was still excited abt the show.. But there were some disappointments somehow.. I feel the female lead wasn't in her best form that night.. The scene when Christine & Raoul were expressing their feelings for each other singing "All I Ask of You", they hugged n kissed affectionately... after the kiss they were supposed to sing the last line of the song to end it off......... but dear Christine only managed to hit the pitch n tune....... but the lyrics went totally off.. simply mumbling away.. while Raoul was clear still... Awwwwwwwww... how disappointing...

Next, was the scene when the Phantom and Christine were rowing the boat out... erm.. somehow I feel the setting wasn't as nice as the one 12 yrs back.. 12 yrs ago, the whole scene juz looks soooooooooooooooooooo romantik...so dreamy so nice.. this time it all looked so bare.. no feel at all :(
then there was a scene at the start where Christine and the Phantom I think were running up and down some slope / steps built at the back of the stage..whatever for??? hmmm...

I had actually wanted to bring my mum to the show for her birthday / Mothers Day when I learned they extended the show till May... but was still considering since the ticket aint cheap and I've already bought mine for the show in March... and I'm glad I didn't......I think my money could be put in better use elsewhere :p

Anyway.. the other thing I've been telling my friends is that the ticket stub for Phantom was so much nicer 12 yrs back too! It's special.. at least its not the standard kind of electronic printed tickets u get now... Yes.. I kept the ticket stub 12 yrs ago till now n only cos it is special! It's appropriate for theatre performance like this... It gives a grand theatre feel overall...But the words are fading badly already after all these years but I'm still keeping it.

The ticket stub... it does look huge compared to the one we have now. I guessed the current one is sized this way to fit most handbags & pockets? That's juz a wild wild guess....*shrugz*

This is a photo of a place called Snoopy Town in Tokyo I supposed.. Thanks to EC for the foto on a holiday trip end last yr.. Now the temptation to visit Japan is back again! Arghhhhhhhh..

This is a series of Snoopy printed Card holder from Taiwan 7-11. It is part of a series of 36 holders in a promotional event held in March 2007. The series features the various tourist spots in Taiwan and are all halograms....So pls don't send me mail telling me the images are blur! haha..I can't get my scanner to show the halogram effect ma =P

I guess response must be so good that they extended it till 10 April 2007. I got to know abt the holder from Joanne during a dinner gathering on 9th April 2007 and immediately sms SS who happened to be in Taipei for a short trip to help me get hold of a couple of such holders. When I reached home, did a quick search on the holders n found out that 10th April will be the last day of the promo!! OMG.... quickly sent a reminder to SS to rem to help get them. And oh boy.. The cards were enclosed in a pack that will only show the actual picture when opened how lucky that all turned out different too! Yes I know I juz can't stop myself from going krazee over Snoopy! Hahaha...

And a big big big thanks to SS for helping to get these precious card holders from Taiwan in such a short notice and cracking brains what to buy at 7-11 in order to get these cards.. (Need to purchase 77NT worth of items to get these card holders for free) plus all my other shopping items ... Thanks, SS :)

Early Birthday

Birthday celebrations did start somewhat early this year...

First it was a birthday treat with Jess at Breeks, Harbourfront before our trip to Sentosa ... It was a nice satisfying treat.. Really appreciated it.. =)

Up next was the monthly deparmental celebrations on the 12th April this time..so glad all went well n no one was keen to be mean (erm not to me at least.. *phew*) =P

As shown above is a personalised handphone strap from Jo, (erm.. not tat Paul & Jo.. Jo.. haha.. wanted to add surname to differentiate.. n realised both of them have same surname! haha... ), Sian, Gine, Snr & Alex... Thanks to all of them.. Really liked it a lot.. How did they realised mine was getting old n fraying? *hiakz* I liked the bling bling. so cute.. n the cute little flower and the cute little butterfly...So sweetttttttt :)
But ss think its a little too shiny ... cannot c my name clearly .. haha.. but it's nice!!! Really loved it...

Next is a pressie.. 2 items from Meiling & Daphne.. The Pooh Bear cushion is sooooo cuddly n cute .. n above all, the color matches my new Blue color chair at work!!!! :)

And together with the cushion is this flower... I was told to rem to place the flower in a position whereby it'll face _away_ from someone lest the smile turn into a frown.. n I've followed the instructions n did so hahahaha.. I could understand why they said tat.. n my snr think we r mean! haha...

Okies.. so far that's all for now.. more updates again (if any).. haha

N oh yes..Bens & Jerry having their free cone day on my birthday this year!!! I wonder if I can ask for additional toppings to go with the ice cream???? *dreaming*

Dept dinner

Had dept dinner last friday...a treat from our HOD to everyone for a erm.. *wonderful* yr last yr?? *it seems*

Didn't really want to go cos was having such bad cramps.. Was in such a bad state.. but then I guess I can't avoid having to attend such "functions" somehow.. So I "forced" myself to go...
Glad to have a group of closer colleagues to hang out with ... made the whole dinner less awkward.. more fun..more laughter...

Anyway during the dinner... a very bored erm.. thou-shant-be-named person started commenting on the way I eat.... he said.. "Waaaaaaaa... ah ney si boon ah" and I replied him back (有点不客气地回答)... "Wa see jin si boon eh..."... and I continued eating my food...

Told SS abt it after the dinner and got a suggestion that I should have replied him saying.. "HEY... my nick is DAINTY ma... "

Kurt Wenner

I've always admired Kurt Wenner's drawings.. When I read on papers that he came to Singapore to do a drawing @ the National Museum for its opening festival.. I've wanted to go down to take a look at the exhibit.

It was said that the work was done in pastel chalk and would not last for long period but I juz didnt managed to find time to go down until today, hours before heading to Esplanade for Budak Pantai's performance...I went down juz to take a look at the drawing! It was good that it's free entrance on Friday night.. (or izzit not? anyway..) Even if I had to pay for entrance to see the drawing I would do so... I am really am that curious and keen to see the drawing in real life instead of juz from pictures!

I'm still in awe how he managed to do it juz with chalk and I admire him for his ability to visualise the views so well... This picture was snapped via the lens provided for visitors to get a more 3D view of the image...

This is really a wonderful piece of work.. Fantastic.. however, I thought it might be better if the drawing fits the surrounding better to make it fit in more naturally juz like many of Kurt Wenner's works... The historical landscape seems so out of way in the modern looking museum now and the color theme used is so off the color of the tiles too... Giving the impression of very erm.. "paste on" effect... quite disappointed in that sense.. oh well... Erm can't really find a better way to describe the "fitting in" part.. prob for anyone interested, pls visit Kurt Wenner's website u'll get wat I mean if u compare the differences in the effects of the drawings at the different venues.. :P

And of cos the worse of the worse are kids who ran in and STEPPED on the drawings! OMG OMG OMG.... they should huff made few layers of barriers to prevent kids from going in too!!! Imagine the damage caused if anything happens to the drawing!! Gosh..

Poor pikachu.. being tied up like a big 大閘蟹!!! This is all cos a colleague didn't know what to get for the office gift exchange.. he decided to wrap the pikachu up as a gift! Someone supplied him with some ribbons and this is what pikachu ended up as after his "wrapping".... poor pikachu.. and it seems like he's not really keen to release pikachu from its "agony" =P

While surfing the web and drooling over CARMEN which will be staged in Taipei over
the Christmas weekend, I chanced upon another upcoming performance in Taipei..

They'll be staging CATS in 臺北巨蛋 Taipei Arena!!! OMG OMG OMG... a spectacular performance in a spectacular venue! Awwwwwwwwwwww.. this is juz soooooooooooooooooooo TEMPTING!!! I wish I can be there to watch it!!!

The temptation to want to watch it is soooooooooo high I quickly did a search for air tickets availability and pricing and the availability of the performance tickets... and this is what I found...

Hmmm not too bad.. affordable (to me la... am a poor working soul.... slogging hard @ work :P)

Lastly, a quick check on availability of tickets for CATS... what's the use of flying there when tickets already been sold out for the show ya?? And the findings are positive... tickets are selling fast but still available!!

I'm going crazee.. someone helppppppppppp me ... or are there anyone willing to help me fulfil the wish? *hiakz*

Christmas Presents

My first Christmas in a new environment... volunteered to chip in to buy a present for everyone in the dept with 3 other colleagues.. and this is the "gift pack" everyone received from us... :)

It's amazing how much joy it brought to the recipients =)

Here's a few pressies that I've received this year... the coaster is special as what yr said.. yellow + blue == green.. therefore its the perfect coaster for me! haha.. But I really liked it.. it's so cute.. and special.. and I wonder how Jocelyn knew I had wanted to go get a coaster for myself!?! *hiakz*

The cap is something I got from the dept gift exchange at work... I really liked it! Initially thought it wouldnt fit me but it did! I had been looking for a cap earlier this yr but had to give up cos I simply can't find one that fits my big head! And how glad I am that this cap fits me nicely and without cost! haha....

The pack of "Sophie" ... is a present from my "SENIOR" aka my sup. at work... He's been so nice so caring so sensitive to my "needs" .. to take care of me physically, mentally and watever not! haha..
And in case u thought I had the words typed wrongly.. I didn't... it's really a pack of cotton candy made to look like it's something else ;P
How thoughtful of my "senior" ... the one who always claim he's an angel bringing out the evil in us ;)

Finally decided to throw away my old keychain which I've been having for the past 18 yrs! I loved it for being simple, compact and light... But I guess if I had known who it was from, I won't really want to use it. But too late, only got to know abt it recently.

其實我倒覺得搞笑成份多了
也微微諷刺了一些社會現象﹑歌曲等
觀眾席間也多了好些名人... 見著了Abigail, 梁文福﹐ 劉雪芳﹐葉佩芬 .... etc...
或許因為今天是首場演出﹖或者參與演出的多數是前﹑現任藝人吧

雖然覺得歌曲的選擇有些挺無理頭的﹐
幸好演員多數演技精湛
為此據挽回了些許的分數

觀據前﹐就非常期待看張永權的演出
事前並沒機會看他的現場表演
終于有機會了.... 好開心
好喜歡他在劇裡分飾的角色
尤其是那個帶有那濃濃馬來西亞口音的華語
真是維妙維肖...
豐富的舞台經驗﹐一人分飾幾角肯定難不倒他
贊﹗

王建復的音質也不錯
聲音很亮... 挺喜歡的... 是眾人中﹐較喜歡的音質之一
陳松伶的角色很討喜
傻傻地...但粉可愛

不過稍嫌故事有點“薄弱”
搞笑意味太濃了
似乎除了搞笑沒太大特色
不過忙碌了一天﹐能笑一笑

I think I'll get hamtum for sharing this silly story but I think it is really cute and really wanna blog it down...
To parties concern...erm.. pls dont take it too hard ya? I'm sure u know it's meant as a joke ya? =P

One day at work, got a msg from a fren that he missed his flight
FOund it a bit amusing .. probably he's the last person I'll expect to be huff miss the flight ba...
I mentioned it to my team mate at work, P

N our story starts from there..

Me: my fren just missed his flight to sg! think I shall suggest to him to swim here with the ice cream

P: how can u ask ur fren to do tat? got sharks u noe

Me: Oh got sharks in that area? never mind la, at most I'll see a skeleton + ice cream when he finally reach sg ma

P: No....

Me: Oh.... ya .. ice cream will melt along the way.. ok ok.. I'll see skeleton + tubs of MILK SHAKE!

P: NO... the shark will eat up the milk shake! And next day newspaper headlines will show that a shark is found to be diagnosed with diabetes .. which is rarely found in sharks.

Me: Eh.. he gonna bring quite a lot of tubs this time.. so probably more sharks will get it instead of just ONE shark?

P: OK... that will alert the authorities to come out with ways to help sharks reduce weight to help ease the diabetes problem. and pple may write a white paper for it..

Me: Ok....if u ever see such a white paper... it may be from me.. so remember to read it ok?

P: OK...

Me: N since diabetes can be passed on to generations thereafter genetically it is important they help sharks reduce weight...
And maybe...after sharks start to grow smaller in sizes pple might just forget abt the idea of eating sharks fins since they'll no longer find any joy in eating small fins!

P: OOii.. u ok or not?? U no eat medicine today izzit?

A walk down memory lane

Was chatting with a friend on MSN
He's gonna to be helping at a friend's wedding the next day as one of the 兄弟
But he's got some work to do and most likely not able to get much rest and will be busy for the whole time tomolo.

Reminds me so much of the time I went to be jie mei for JJ & SH wedding

Was still doing SA at that time and the wedding date happen to be near the end of a semester for us and we had several projects to finish up before the term exams commence. Still remembered I skipped a day's classes for the wedding as it was a weekday.. a Thursday to be precise. I was on the verge of losing my voice from beginning of that week.. still remember I met Paul & Jo (ss: I'm using their names in the right order this time ya? :P) for dinner and by then I had lost >70% of my voice... Paul was nice enough to ferry me ard various places that night after dinner to go look for something supposed to be used to sabotage SH the following day. Was home ard 2am .. still had to go through program codes b4 I try to catch some nap before heading to JJ's house.

Left my place at 4+am I think... By the time I reached her place almost 75% of my voice gone liaoz. By the end of the tea ceremony my voice was almost 85% gone... Started to feel terrible when we reached the hotel to take some rest before the preparations for the dinner starts.. Started to have running nose on top of the husky voice...By the end of dinner which ended almost at midnight.. I was down with fever.. DOwn with flu the following day n had to miss another day of class again..

Seriously I wonder how I survived it back then.. Should thank my dear team mates for helping to do up the project in my absence. But also thanks to my team mate (or rather no thanks) who dowan to do a certain part (for watever reason there is) I had to go down to school on Sat when I was still not well to do the project.. anyway... I got a "scolding" from same person for going down to sch even when I'm not well 2 spread germs...

But oh well... good ole' memories.. seriously dunno how I survived those few days.. And it sure brings back lots of memories of the SA days.. it was tiring, busy, stressful and yet very fun. The childish things done.. the weird events that had happened along the way... pple whom we met from different walks of life...

Am glad I still managed to know many nice friends during the course and of cos with them ard, life in SA was less miserable

Finally went down to new house ... Here are some photos of my lime green room.. it's just the exact colour I want it too be. And I'm glad the feel together with the furniture is also what I had in mind! I'm so satisfied with the design! Heee...

Not forgetting.. I must really thank one and all whom I've bothered these few weeks & months.. Be it where to get paint.... color codes of paint etc.. Ok, this is a very much delayed action after watching Cabaret in July this yr.
And I guess no one could ever imagine how crazy I was during that period juz cos Fei Xiang was part of the cast for the musical! =D

Jo, I finally am posting this photograph here! ;P
This photograph is "with compliments" from Jo, who have been nice enough to crop himself away before passing the photo to me! Ha... Yes.. I'm only interested to have Fei Xiang in the photo and it's nicely set as my wallpaper in my phone too! Haha...

Anyway, Cabaret was great. How bad can it be with Fei Xiang around? Hahaha.... A friend commented that I'm not exactly an avid fan of Fei Xiang as I can't sing his songs.. I am just "lusting" over his looks! Hmmm...Well my reply to her was I may not really listen to Fei Xiang's pop songs as much.. but I am simply in awe with his Broadway style singing.. esp when he sings in musicals.. Thus, I rushed to buy his Broadway album in 2005 and bought it off the shelf when it was officially sold in the shop! And it was a dream come true to see him perform on stage life in a musical! Imagine my thrill when I found out he was coming to ssg to perform early this year! And trust me.. he was great! Really.. the story was good so was the cast.. And sitting right in front of the stage of KIT KAT CLUB was a dream come true too :)

A change in job environment juz took place a few days ago...
Gotta adapt to totally new job scope, new pple, new environment.
2 wks later, gonna shift office.. another new environment for me. No idea what it is going to be like in new office...

More to come in the coming few weeks.
Its juz been confirmed we will be shifting house by early Nov.. its 1-2 mths earlier than expected.
By then it will be yet another new environment for me.

I have to spend the coming weeks shopping for furniture.. getting paints for my new room.. packing and throwing away things again.

Quite a dilemma I'm feeling right now, don't feel like shifting cos its juz too convenient here but then again feel like changing to a new environment .. fresh new start for me and it will be nearer to office from new home, or at least its more convenient to get to work den now
but den i'll be so far away from frens, at least from my buddies.

I wonder if I'll be able to go thru such major changes just within short frame of time.... :{

First draft of my Taiwan trip "Photo album"

So happy.. spent quite some time sieving through my photographs and friend's to select photos that I want to send to print.

Wrote a first draft of the text to include together with the photographs. I hope the album will turn out nice. Hope to get the photographs printed out soon too so I can slowly piece them together.

It's one of the things I'll like to do for my trips. To self create my own album... yes.. including the erm .. "ALBUM"... Hope to be able to complete my album before my exams starts... Or maybe I shant be too ambitious.. Maybe it would be good enough if I can do it by end of next month after my exams. Hmm....

And all the trouble juz because I'm simply in love with TAIWAN! hahaha......

Pressure pressure and more pressure

It's the season to b "pressured" again to attend the D&D... I dunno.. Its either cos I don't feel the bond .. The thought of attending the event just doesn't "appeal" to me.. Or its probably cos I don't think much of it.. (I'm sorrie to have to say this esp I'm kinda close to the committee pple) I don't know.. its like when you go thru all the trouble to think of a theme each year... but no one dresses according to it!!! Pple who win best dress award is always the "standard" few pretty lads & lasses...who always appear in their best formal gown. Erm...may I ask.. what role does the theme play huh?? ...Then next its the mentality of all who attend. Seriously speaking.. do u really think everyone attend it cos they really feel the sense of belonging that I'm still searching for (after almost 2 yrs???) the answer is sadly, NO. A vast majority of the staffs go for the simple "thrill" or "fact" that its a FREE "high-class" meal with all expenses paid by company and of cos not forgetting the thrill of winning something free via the LUCKY DRAW!! That's soooooooooo erm.. DUH!!!!! As I was going through YR's D&D photos.. I was thinking.. HEY that's so fun.. everyone makes an effort to dress according to theme.. If mine was like that I guess I'll be more sporting...at least they bother they feel the bond (or least makes an effort to create the bond). Rather than going for a free meal, stick to ur same old gang, coming back not knowing anyone else from other sites STILL.. making no difference in creating a bond.. but feeling glad u won something in the lucky draw? CHEY! cheap thrill... I still cant explain why I don't feel the "urge" to wanna go... .. Neither could my ex-boss.. He simply couldn't figure out why I could have a group of pally colleagues at work but yet I don't feel like attending the event. Neither can I. Anyway..if he was still in the company this year.. I probably would give him face.... (erm.. I did say MAYBE right? :P)

Anyway, I really wish to concentrate on my revision while u guys & gals erm.. enjoy yourself at the event. I have an exam to sit for the following week (or rather juz a couple of days after that) And its a paper consisting of 4 "modules" 2 of which I attended classes for and I'm totally NOT familiar with them and the other 2 are not taught in the school totally cos its not FUNDED! OMG! I'm still wondering how I'm gonna survive it.. :(

But but but... IT is really a broad industry. Being a erm.. Professional in this line.. doesn't mean I know every single aspect of it all.. Its just like a cook in a Jap restaurant does not mean he's equally capable of making equally tasty Indian dishes...We all have our own expertise...

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I finally managed to contact a friend whom I've lost touch for almost 2 yrs!!! (For almost as long as I'm in the current company) I was so sad to be out of touch.. for who-noes-wat-reason. I've tried all sort of methods of contact.. sms, phone calls, email......... No response from any for the past 1 yr plus.. My mind starts to paint weird scenarios... n I start getting paranoid as the wait gets longer and patience gets lesser...

I'm left with only one more chance to try... to send a snail mail to an overseas address of this friend. I'm not really sure if the address is still valid after all these years.. neither am I sure if I'm prepared to take whatever comes after that... (I'm paranoid.. I told u...).... Finally, I braced enough courage on my birthday last week while I was rotting comfortably at home... Started to pen some words on a greeting card and post it out the following day...

And the response finally came today!!! Whooooooooopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... How glad I am we r in touch again.. I'm sure u felt the same...
I'm glad I tried writing... I was actually tired from a whole day of work n class...and most of all from the mere 2 hrs (or izzit less than tat?? ) of sleep last night! But ur call took away all the tiredness in me!!!

Views about love, relationships, marriage

Just read some article in a local magazine.
It stated that Carina Lau & Tony Leung been attached for the past 16 yrs. Though there have been rumours ard saying that they have broken up, but they have been cohabiting for past few dunno how many yrs...

After reading that, I was thinking that hey that's true love isn't it? What's marriage? To some pple, its a promise of love.. to others its just a piece of paper. Some pple get married cos they found a partner to spend the rest of their lives with, some do it cos they have been together for many yrs. Been hearing too many cases of unhappy marriages happening to friends, relatives, colleagues...etc etc. the list just goes on.. So is it really so crucial whether one is married or not? It seems like its no longer a promise of a happy life (at least from a gal's point of view) now..unlike in the past probably in our grandmother's era.

Take Carina Lau & Tony Leung's example.. Tony Leung appears aloof most of the time.. however, he can be by Carina Lau's side for 16 yrs..16 yrs of relationship.. How many pple can promise that and really do it? Let's not discuss abt whether they should cohabit or not..but the fact stands that the love is still there after 16 yrs. Wow.. its really so rare.. really...How often do u hear couples not having a good marriage life a few yrs down the road? I've seen and heard too many... If true love is what u want.....isn't it just enough to find true love like that between Carina Lau & Tony Leung?

Was just chatting with a fren via MSN.. He was saying that he has no money for marriage..after giving him some "positive" light in life.. he has been throwing back negative views to EVERY single suggestion I gave..great.. never mind.. the thing is he's been thinking of the whole affair in monetary terms.. n after he has nothing else to talk abt in that aspects. he go on to tell me that he barely noe his gf for less than a yr.. Hey friend... time is not an issue in such things. U can know a person for >10 yrs but do u truly know everything abt them? Even if u think u do, life will sure be 100% different after marriage.. This is a fact we all have to face. Living together is always a different issue. Regardless of how many yrs u been in a relationship, there are still many things u got to learn together as a married couple.

Marriage is not everything abt money...its more on what u want out of it all... a scene in local drama, Love Concierge, left a very deep impression in me.. In the show, Fiona Xie was preparing for wedding with her bf. They had not much money too and chose to hold a simple wedding in a park... with just some close friends and family.. That's true love isn't it? There aint much guest, nothing grand. But one can feel the strong bonding between them. WOW... So what if do not huff enuff to buy a new flat? a rented flat or room will do too right?

But then again.. its all between the couple.. its ur life.. so its ur choice... that's all I can share..the rest is really up to u. as long as u r happy...:)

added some misc ones, some celebrity's blog and friend's blog too.

I'm not waiting for Hedy to give the go ahead to post her link in my blog....Haha.. but anyway.. she didn't post anything that is not meant for public viewing "yet" ma.. >:P

As for the celebrity's ones... some are blogs that I read rather frequently.. partly cos I listen to their radio programmes.. or at least see them on tv before.. like their humour sometimes.. some are new links discovered during those few days when I was hibernating at home to prepare for exams.. (erm.. YES I did spend time preparing for exams too haha...I need to relax though I know I need to mug hard ;P)

Just discovered Patricia Mok's blog site on one of the blog sites.. She's sharing abt shopping and makan tips.. It should be a rather interesting site to visit if you happen to be running out of ideas about where to go and what to do.. :)

I'm not exactly a fan of xiaxue...but I read one of her entry on her experience watching movie at Yang Tze cinema..it was hilarious.. Now I know why her blog is so popular... The same goes to Mr Brown I guess. He sure have a unique sense of humour. Do read his column in Friday's edition of TODAY... it's a good way to start the day by reading what interesting view he has ;P

Yeah...I passed my first paper!!!

Hoooray!!! *phew* managed to pass my first paper for MCAD.
was so stressed by the fact that I had to pass my first paper by end March in order to qualify for application for CITREP funding..
And the fact that my course is company sponsored makes it more stressful for me.
But it's all over now.. *phew*
at least made it for first round.
Hope the experience will make me more prepared to go for the next 2 papers to get the certification...

Oh boy!!!! Just found out yesterday that Toy Factory will be staging Cabaret July this year and FEI XIANG is gonna be starring in it!!!
Hoooooooooooooray!!!! Imagine hearing and seeing Fei Xiang LIVE!!! OMY OMG OMG!!!
I was just so thrilled after finding out about the musical.. Too bad wasn't able to post it up in the blog then cos was in class and Blogger had some problems yesterday... I think the instructor must have thought I'm nuts or something.. why was I smilling like krazee throughout the class! :P

It's a musical not to be missed...
Mark your calendar n remember to book early to grab the best seats! :)

People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Nicole doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.

Vandalism

Was in the washroom at some certain shopping centre in Singapore.
The walls and doors are badly vandalised by students (I presumed its done by students as there've been traces of school names, classes being mentioned everywhere).
I found something in a corner which I think its quite nicely written.
Nah..I'm not trying to encourage vandalism. It's not right definitely..

Can't remember exactly what it says. But it's talking about A who has crashed B's dreams. B was forced to wake up from the dream unwillingly and hopes A will not leave B to face it alone....It was written in chinese n I think the flow was nice. I have this impression it's written by a Secondary school student. If the author is just a teenager, I think she has great potential!

If the author could make use of her talent to write poems or short stories, I'm sure she'll do a great job! Why write on walls??? I'm sure there's a lot of other places where u can write...抒发情绪是没错的，但是请注意管道。
