Spring Cleaning

Did a pretty thorough spring cleaning this yr for cny...
It was a good thing that cny eve falls on a sat this yr.. At least fri night is a good chance for doing spring cleaning and the next day not being first day of the new yr...


Went for movies on Fri night.. started only after midnight that day........Spent almost 12 hrs on it.. Never threw away so much things in my life! ha...


Anyway was going through the box of cards n letters one by one.. Was trying to sieve thru so that I can throw away the old ones... Was trying not to throw away dory's letters (we made an agreement to meet up next yr to celebrate our 20th "anniversary" and to re-read the letters we exchanged back then.. sure to bring back lots of memories n sure to be quite funny .. ) by mistake...


As I go through the list, I saw letters from TMM... OMG OMG.... seriously the terms "darling", "dar" etc etc... made my goose bumps commit suicide that night!!! OMG... what a gross thought... made a conscious effort to SKIP the "suspicious" cards & letters from him n threw them into the bin directly from then on! ha....


Anyway..here's the end result of my neat neat room after a whole night long of spring cleaning.. so proud of myself.. It's been long long time since my room is such a neat state! :P

Announcements!!!

Today (11/01/2006) I am the proud owner of 2 "Budak Pantai" albums!!! Bought them from Esplande Shop on my way to buy concert tickets

So happy to own their cds now.


Many yrs back saw some compilation sold in HMV shelves... But was short of cash to purchase cd then.. so dropped the idea.. But when I had the cash n headed back to HMV when the cash came in the cds were no longer sitting on the shelves.. Tried asking the counter staff but they either gave a "HUH" a.k.a. BLANK look (as though I was an alien from outer space speaking alien language!!! How absurd! Wonder how they can be assigned to man the classical music counter when they have absolutely no idea what acapella means or that there are indeed acapella groups in Singapore??) Was really disappointed for missing the chance to get their albums back then..


I was thrilled knowing that the albums are sold in the Esplanade shop.. How can I let go of the chance to buy their albums again ya???


*Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* Shall start listening to them in office tomorrow! :)

When they say an album is released today....

it means you probably can't find it in any of the stores....

NOT cos it's all sold out..but cos the stocks r not in yet!

Why do they announce to the whole world that the album is released today then?? *bewildered look*

Just got suanned by Jo for using such LOooOOOooooooooooooong username for this blog..

He suggested I could make it longer n use names like Readallaboutmythoughts or nobodybutmegotthissuperlongname .. Mega suan!! OMG...

Hmm...But what I wanna say is... I'm pretty "自恋" & "自负" one... I like it..

No matter what I will stick on to it till a point in time in the future when I feel there's a need to abundant it... which will not be in the near future ;P

Received these 2 cards from one of my buddies, Jo, today. It's soooooooooo cool.. They are the single trip "fare card" for Taiwan's 捷运 and the pictures printed are from 几米's illustration books.. OMG OMG.. aren't they simply lovely???? Really touched that Jo took the trouble to stop his friends from using the cards and got them to buy new cards to use and brought them back for me cos he know I'll like them?? Such a sweet thought....and they are really lovely. I should really wrap them up and keep them well cos they are specially air flown!!!






Then there was this other surprise I got from Jo. It's part of my presents for last Christmas. It's a pink piggy handphone "stand" (is this what you call them??).. Many many months back when I was out with Jo & Paul, I went krazee when I saw this pink piggy on display in one of the shops cos its simply so PINK and cute!!! But I didn't buy it then..... And many many months down the road, I actually received it as a present and I am so touched that my friend actually remembered I almost went krazee when I saw it the last time. OMG OMG... Life is just so wonderful when u huff such thoughtful friends around u..

The following work day I happily brought it down to office and used it.. I found a nice corner and let my piggy sit happily on top of a box in one corner. It just fits so well....So happy!! :)

And of cos not forgetting Paul's thoughtful gifts too.. Thanks for the dvd set.. Yet to have time to sit down to enjoy... But I sure will... cos the actor is just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute. hahaha..



Thank you so much Paul helping to carry the 9kg hi fi set too... It may not be really that heavy but its a big bulky box after all. Not easy having to carry it through crowds and travel here and there with it. Don't think I can do it without your help. Really really appreciate your help alot... Feel so paiseh bullying u today making u carry it around....But then I know u'll help ur buddy one right? *hiakz*



Been so long I've enjoyed nice music at home without "disruptions" haha..
